Group A

Argentina

Peru

Two-time CONMEBOL Copa América™ champions Peru are coming to the United States with something to prove. La Blanquirroja start their tournament campaign against Chile on June 21 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Keep an eye out for Paolo Guerrero as well, as he attempts to break the all time goalscoring record.

Chile

he last time CONMEBOL Copa América took place in the United States, it was Chile who took the trophy home, their second ever title, having won their first the previous year. Quite a few of the big names who won the trophy eight years ago will feature again during this year’s edition. La Roja begin the festivities against Peru in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium on June 21.

Canada

Canada will be making their first ever appearance in a CONMEBOL Copa América™ this year, led by their head coach, American, Jesse Marsch. With an exciting group of young players excelling in Europe, Canada will look to make a big impression on the competition during the first match of the tournament against defending champions Argentina on June 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Group B

Mexico

No guest at CONMEBOL Copa América™ has ever performed as well as Mexico. El Tri has made it to two finals, in 1993 and 2001, and will be eager to show what they can do on a world stage yet again, in 2024. It all starts in Houston, Texas at NGR Stadium for Mexico as they take on CONCACAF rival Jamaica on June 22. How far can this new generation of Mexican players go this time around?

Ecuador

It’s an exciting time for Ecuadorian football. One of the two South American countries that will be looking to win its first CONMEBOL Copa América™ trophy has plenty of reasons to hope this may be their year. La Tri’s latest group of youngsters have taken Europe by storm, they look to do the same in the United States during this tournament. Their first match is on June 21 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California against Venezuela.

Venezuela

Just like Ecuador, Venezuela is the other CONMEBOL to battle for its first ever continental glory. La Vinotinto will play against their rivals in their first match of this campaign at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The two countries have plenty of history in this tournament, and Venezuela would love to show the world that they’re the ones to watch out for coming out of Group B.

Jamaica

The Reggae Boyz are making their third appearance in CONMEBOL Copa América this year, with Icelander Heimir Hallgrímsson leading the Caribbean country. As one of the six CONCACAF guests, Jamaica will take on fellow North American side Mexico in their first match at NGR Stadium in Houston Texas on June 22. A team with veteran players from the Premier League, Jamaica will be eager to hit the ground running.

Group C

United States

An important few years in the United States that culminates with the country hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, starts with this year’s CONMEBOL Copa América. The host country will have very high expectations, not just because they’ll be defending their home soil, but because their golden generation of players are all entering their prime at the perfect time. Bolivia will be the American’s first opponents on June 23 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Uruguay

Led by legendary manager Marcelo Bielsa, La Celeste has plenty to be excited about going into CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™. Uruguay is tied with Argentina with the most tournament titles with 15, the last of them coming in 2011 with a team led by legends Edison Cavani, Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan. Only Suarez remains on the roster for this tournament, but the new generation is ready to etch their names with the stars of the past. They kick things off against Panama on June 23 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Panama

Los Canaleros are making their second ever appearance in CONMEBOL Copa América and should feel right at home with many of their best players playing in Major League Soccer in the United States. This year’s tournament in the U.S. gives Panama the chance to improve upon their group stage exit during their first participation back in 2016. Their first test will be against Uruguay on June 23 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Bolivia

The CONMEBOL Copa América 1963™ champions travel to the United States ready to make their country proud. Led on the field by youngster Ramiro Vaca and in the dugout by Antônio Carlos Zago, La Verde has plenty to prove to the world during this year’s tournament. The United States is first on the fixture list on June 23 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Group D

Brazil

The expectations are always high for Brazil at big tournaments and this year’s CONMEBOL Copa América is no different. A team full of worldwide superstars will look to lead their country to its 10th title, and no less will be expected from the team’s supporters. The Canarinha aren’t here to play around, they’re here to take the trophy back home to Brazil. Costa Rica is first up, with Brazil taking the pitch against Los Ticos on June 24 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Colombia

No team is entering CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ in better form than Colombia. Riding a 22 game unbeaten streak into their first match against Paraguay on June 24 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, expectations are through the roof for Tricolor. For good reason too, could this be the first Colombian team to take home the trophy since 2001? The whole country will be behind them as their players battle for their second ever championship.

Paraguay

A mix of veterans and exciting youngsters make up La Albirroja’s roster. The two time champions of CONMEBOL Copa América enter the 2024 ready to make some noise in a tough Group D. Player’s such as Julio Enciso have already left an impression on Premier League fans while Miguel Almirón returns to the country where he became a star. Colombia and Paraguay play their first match of the tournament on June 24 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Costa Rica

Los Ticos are a team you never want to face in a major tournament. The CONCACAF nation is making its sixth appearance in CONMEBOL Copa América™ this year, and every team in Group D will be wary of what Costa Rica can do. It all kicks off for Los Ticos on June 24 at SoFi Stadium against Brazi.
