  • Venezuela has already qualified for the next round while Jamaica has been eliminated .

  • Ecuador and Mexico will play simultaneously to determine the second team from Group B to qualify for the Quarterfinals .

Although both team’s fates in the tournament have already been decided, there’s plenty to watch for in the Group B finale between Venezuela and Jamaica.

The CONMEBOL and Concacaf team will face off in the Group Stage one last time on June 30 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.

La Vinotinto have already qualified for the next stage, winning both of their first two games against Ecuador and Mexico. It’s been an excellent start to the competition for Venezuela, who’ve shown tremendous grit and determination.

Venezuela has already made history by recording their first ever come-from-behind win in the tournament, by coming back from a 1-0 deficit in the opening match against Ecuador, to win 2-1. They have a chance to make history again on Sunday, because if they win again, it’ll be the first time La Vinotinto have ever won three straight games in a CONMEBOL Copa América™.

As for Jamaica, even though they’ve already been eliminated, they can be proud of their efforts so far. Besides just giving Ecuador and Mexico difficult games that perhaps could’ve gone in the Reggae Boyz favor had a few things gone differently, they also scored their first ever goal in the tournament, thanks to Michail Antonio. Against Venezuela, they’ll look to earn their first ever point in the competition, and continue to add to their record books.
