The Metlife Stadium is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is the home of the New York Giants and New York Jets, two NFL teams. It was inaugurated in 2010.

During the CONMEBOL Copa América™ it hosted three matches: the first was on June 25, for Group A, between Argentina and Chile, with a 1-0 victory for the tournament champion.

The second match was on June 27, with Uruguay's 5-0 thrashing of Bolivia, for Group C. The final match again featured Argentina, this time defeating Canada 2-0 in the semifinal held on July 9.

Wrestlemania, on two occasions (2013 and 2019), and the Super Bowl (2014) have seen action in a stadium with an astonishing capacity.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will feature the Metlife Stadium as one of the major venues, with eight matches scheduled: five matches in the group stage, one in the round of 32, one in the round of 16, and the tournament final.
