Stadium History:
Over the years, Hard Rock Stadium has established itself as one of the United States’ premier entertainment venues. Opened in 1987, the stadium has since hosted six Super Bowls, five College Football Championship games, Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix, and will host multiple matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Hard Rock Stadium was the former home of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins (then known as the Florida Marlins), and is the current home of the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins and the Miami Hurricanes college football team. This year, the stadium will host two group matches during CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ as well as the final.
Transportation:
Airport: Miami International Airport is one of the country’s busiest airports, and is especially frequented by international travelers. The airport is located around 18.5 miles south of Hard Rock Stadium.
