It is one of the four stadiums located on the West Coast where the CONMEBOL Copa América USA States 2024™ was played.

It has a capacity for 65,500 people and hosted three matches during the tournament.

Allegiant Stadium, one of the 14 stadiums that hosted the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, is located in Las Vegas (Nevada) and was inaugurated in 2020. It is the home of the Raiders, the American football team that competes in the NFL.

For its construction, 28,000 tons of structural steel were used, which, for example, is heavier than the Statue of Liberty. The stadium has 44 escalators and more than 2300 televisions.

This year, it had the honor of hosting Super Bowl LVIII, for the first time in its history. On Sunday, February 11th, the massive event that captivates American sports and turns on televisions around the world took place as we all witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.

On Wednesday, June 26, Allegiant Stadium made its debut in the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024™: it hosted Ecuador's 3-1 victory over Jamaica in Group B.

Two days later, on Friday, June 28, the stadium witnessed Brazil's impressive performance as they defeated Paraguay 4-1 in a Group D match.

Allegiant Stadium concluded its role in the tournament with the quarter-final match where Uruguay won against Brazil in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw in regular time.

Before the CONMEBOL Copa América™ began, Allegiant Stadium hosted the start of the Australian Rugby League. For the first time in its history, this prominent local sport kicked off a season in the United States.
