Children's Mercy Park opened in 2011 and is located in Kansas City, Kansas. It is the home of Sporting Kansas City, a team that plays in the MLS and was the league champion in 2013.

At that stadium, Canada scored its first goal and achieved its first victory in the tournament's history: a 1-0 win over Peru in Group A on June 25.

The proximity of the stands to the field and the great comfort it offers with its amenities, like the luxurious Argyle Suite where, from one corner of the stadium, retractable windows allow for a combination of a private bar with a privileged view of the action on the field.

Children's Mercy Park hosted the CONCACAF Gold Cups in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2021. There, the United States also played home matches in World Cup qualifiers against Guatemala and Jamaica.

In 2024, it hosted two matches of KU Football, a football team that competes in the Big 12 Conference.
