With an impressive display of football, Brazil defeated Bolivia 6-0 this Wednesday, July 16, in a Group B clash at the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™. Arthur Elias' team continues their perfect campaign with six points from two matches. Bolivia remains without a point.
From the start in Quito, Brazil showed their quality. At minute 13, Luany opened the scoring, finishing after controlling a deflected shot from Dudinha. Kerolin nearly scored with a chip at 26 (the ball hit the post), and Ary Borges forced a good save from Sánchez at 28.
The second goal came in the 32nd minute: Fátima received a long pass from Kerolin and shot; Sánchez made the save, but Luany pounced on the rebound to double the lead. Moments later, Luany was fouled by Salvatierra in the box, and Kerolin converted the penalty.
In the second half, Brazil maintained the attacking pressure. Bolivia managed to hold off for most of the 45 minutes, but Kerolin added two more goals (80’ and 83’), and Amanda Gutierres closed the scoring in stoppage time. Angelina Rivero was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.
Brazil will rest over the weekend and return to action on Tuesday, July 22, against Paraguay. Bolivia faces Venezuela on Saturday, July 19.
