As 2025 approaches, CONMEBOL is set to organize major tournaments throughout the season. Among them, there will be three editions of the CONMEBOL Copa América™.
CONMEBOL Copa América Beach Soccer™ kicks off the season
From February 22 to March 2, the continental tournament will take place in Chile. The top three teams will qualify for the Seychelles World Cup, to be held in May.
The groups are:
Group A: Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
Group B: Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.
CONMEBOL Copa América Women’s Futsal™, the second event
It will be held in Brazil from March 22 to 30. The top three teams will earn the privilege of competing in the inaugural Women’s Futsal World Cup, to be hosted in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7.
The groups are:
Group A: Brazil, Venezuela, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
Group B: Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, and Peru.
CONMEBOL Copa América Women’s Edition™, the grand finale
From July 12 to August 2, this tournament will take place in Ecuador. It will no longer serve as a qualifier for the next Women’s World Cup, as this World Cup cycle will feature South American Women’s Qualifiers.
The CONMEBOL Copa América Women’s Edition™ will act as a qualifier for the 2027 Pan American Games (third to fifth places) and the 2028 Olympic Games (top two teams).
The groups are:
Group A: Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Peru.
Group B: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Bolivia.
