  • There will be two groups of five teams each.
  • The Final Phase will feature the top three teams from each group.

On December 19, the draw for the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina Ecuador 2025™ was finalized.

The initial phase will consist of two groups of five teams each, divided as follows:

Group A: Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Peru.

Group B: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Bolivia.

The top three teams from each group will advance to the Final Phase. The third-place teams will face each other to determine the fifth position, while the first and second teams from each group will meet in the semifinals: the first of Group A will face the second of Group B, and vice versa.

The tournament will serve as a qualifier for the upcoming Pan American Games and Olympic Games. Teams finishing third to fifth will qualify for Lima 2027 (Peru is already qualified as the host; if Peru occupies one of these spots, the sixth-place team will also qualify). The two finalists will secure spots in Los Angeles 2028.

The CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina™ no longer offers spots for the next Women’s World Cup. Starting with this World Cup cycle, there will be South American Women’s Qualifiers, which will begin in 2025 after the continental tournament.
