After 28 years Argentina are once again champions of the CONMEBOL Copa América and they did it against none other than their great continental rivals Brazil.
Lionel Scaloni’s lifted the oldest national team title in the world with an unbeaten run which included 5 wins and 2 draws (including the 1-1 draw to Colombia with Argentina winning the penalty shootout).
In total they scored 12 goals at the tournament including a spectacular effort from Lionel Messi and Ángel Di María’s wonderful lob in the final to secure the title.
