The four national teams that have everything to win the Cup: Venezuela

It was not until the 1967 edition of the South American Football Championship that the fans could enjoy the participation of the Venezuelan National team. They were 51 long years that had to pass.

With Venezuela in 1967, all the South American countries participated in the South American. However, in this edition, Brazil and Peru were absent despite their phenomenal football status.

For the CONMEBOL Copa América 2011, in Argentina, the Venezuelan National Team had an outstanding presentation. He finished second in Group B, after Brazil, qualifying to the quarterfinals.

The team defeated Chile 2-1 and in the semifinals he faced Paraguay. A 0-0 in the regulation time defined the classified one in penaltis. 5-3 won the Guaranies. In the fight for third place, this respectable Venezuelan team fell 4-1 against Peru.

A new elimination in the Groups phase in Chile 2015 and a quarterfinals in the CONMEBOL Copa America Centenario of the United States, is the record of Venezuela before the dispute of a new continental tournament in the CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019, where it will debut by Group A against the Peruvian team on June 15 in Porto Alegre.
