After defeating Japan in their opening match, Chile want to concede another night of pure goal against Ecuador on Friday in the second matchday of CONMEBOL Group C of the Copa América Brasil-2019, and secure a place in the quarter-finals.

Chile made Japan feel with a 4-0 win who is the two-time American champions and now intends to do the same with the men of ‘Bolillo’ Gomez.

Ecuador arrives with blood in their eyes and the desire to recover, but more than anything to make it clear that against Uruguay was just a bad night … casual.

The team led by Colombian Reinaldo Rueda wants to ensure the classification in the World Cup Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador (northeast), scheduled at 20H00 local (23H00 GMT), and a new victory will put them in the other phase.

Probable line-ups:

Chile: Gabriel Arias – Guillermo Maripán, Mauricio Isla, Gary Medel, Jean Beausejour – Erick Pulgar, Charles Aránguiz, Arturo Vidal – Alexis Sánchez, Eduardo Vargas and José Pedro Fuenzalida. DT: Reinaldo Rueda.

Ecuador: Alexander Domínguez – Pedro Velasco, Gabriel Achiller, Arturo Mina, Beder Caicedo – Carlos Gruezo – Jefferson Orejuela, Sebastián Méndez, Antonio Valencia, Ayrton Preciado – Énner Valencia. DT: Hernán Darío Gómez.

Referee: Patricio Loustau (ARG).
