With more than 100 years of history, CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019 has hundreds of statistics, which prove one of the most important of the oldest national team tournament in the world: it is a competition without precedent.

Paolo Guerrero completed 11 goals: Peru striker Paolo Guerrero is the active player with the most goals scored in Copa América history: he has scored 11 goals in 19 games.

They scored twice in a final: Ronaldo (Brazil, 1997 and 1999) and Pablo Javier Bengoechea (Uruguay, 1987 and 1995) are the only players to have scored in two Copa América finals.

1 goal for history: José Piendibene, from Uruguay, scored the first goal in the history of the Copa América: it was on July 2, 1916, 44 minutes into the game, in the 4-0 win over Chile.
