Welcome to Houston, Texas. The fourth largest city in the United States will play a major part of CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, hosting three matches during this year's tournament. Bayou City is known for its food scene, Johnson Space Center and sports teams. NRG Stadium, home of the NFL's Houston Texans, is where fans will go to watch their team once the tournament begins. Mexico-Jamaica, June 22 will be the CONMEBOL Copa América™ debut of this stadium.

History of the stadium:


NRG Stadium was built in 2002 to be the home of the NFL's Houston Texans. Since then it has also hosted prestigious events such as the Super Bowl (2004), the National College Football Playoff Championship (2024) and numerous matches of the National Teams of the United States and Mexico. NRG Stadium will also host seven matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States.
