Argentina will make their first appearance in the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™ this Tuesday, July 15, after sitting out the opening matchday. Their opponent will be Uruguay, who are aiming for their first win in this edition. The match takes place at Estadio IDV in Quito, Ecuador.
Uruguay came very close to a great start in Group A, having taken the lead against the hosts in the tournament opener – a match that ended 2-2. Belén Aquino and Pamela González, from the penalty spot, scored the goals for La Celeste.
Champions in 2006, Argentina hope to challenge for the title again after finishing third in the previous edition. Players like Kishi Núñez and Yamila Rodríguez are the main hopes for Argentine fans.
