The CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™ is approaching its final act. This Friday, August 1, the penultimate match of the tournament will be played between Argentina and Uruguay, who'll duel for this edition's third place.
The Río de la Plata derby already took place in the Group Stage. It was Argentina’s debut in the second matchday (they had a bye in the first), and ended 1-0 for the Albiceleste, with a goal by Florencia Bonsegundo.
Bonsegundo is Argentina’s top scorer in the tournament with two goals. On Uruguay’s side, Pamela González and Wendy Carballo each scored twice.
