CONMEBOL Copa América™
  • La Albiceleste has won both of its matches so far.
  • La Bicolor says goodbye, seeking its first points.

Argentina and Peru will face off this Monday, July 21, under very different circumstances in the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™. While Argentina tops Group A, Peru has yet to earn a point. Coach Emily Lima’s side will play its fourth and final group-stage match already eliminated from semifinal contention.

Peru has suffered three defeats so far: they debuted against Chile (0-3), then lost to Ecuador (1-3) and Uruguay (0-1). Now, they’ll try to finish the tournament on a positive note.

Argentina, on the other hand, skipped the first round and went on to beat Uruguay (1-0) and Chile (2-1), with a dramatic comeback against La Roja. A win would secure Germán Portanova’s team a spot in the semifinals of the tournament.

Argentina will play one more Group A match on Thursday, July 24, against host nation Ecuador.
