This Thursday marks the start of the CONMEBOL Sub20 2025, featuring the participation of the 10 CONMEBOL national teams. Kendry Páez (Ecuador)
The number 10 played all the matches for the Ecuadorian national team in the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™: he started in all four games and scored a goal against Jamaica. He is a regular starter for the senior national team, with 17 matches played.
Páez, who already played in a U20 World Cup in 2023, is 17 years old and will move from Independiente del Valle to Chelsea when he turns 18 (mid-year).
Kervin Andrade (Venezuela)
The midfielder debuted for the senior national team in 2024 and saw minutes in the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, coming off the bench against Jamaica.
As the leader of the tournament hosts, Andrade enters the tournament at 19 years old with extensive club experience, being one of the standout players for Fortaleza. Last year, he played in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, reaching the quarterfinals and scoring a goal in the international competition.
