  • Arthur scored twice.
  • Peru will play for third place against Venezuela.

The closing match of Day 6 featured Brazil as the main protagonist. The most successful team in the competition will now aim for its 12th title.

The Canarinha needed fifteen minutes to break the deadlock. At the 15-minute mark, Arthur struck a powerful left-footed shot to open the scoring, and just two minutes later, Pito doubled the lead with a well-placed finish.

In the second half, Lucão capitalized on a rebound following a shot from Pito to score the third. Peru pulled one back through a thunderous strike from Tavera. With four minutes remaining, Arthur restored Brazil’s three-goal advantage (4-1). Obando then gave Peru renewed hope.

It ended 4-2, and this Sunday the 2024 final will be repeated, with Brazil chasing the 12th continental title in its history and Argentina going for its fourth. Before that, Peru will face Venezuela in the third-place match.
