Brazil won an epic final and are the champions of the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™
Defeated Argentina 2-1 with one minute remaining to lift their 12th title.

The CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™ is now history: Brazil defeated Argentina in the final and once again lifted the continental trophy.
A toe-poke finish by João Victor opened the scoring in the 9th minute. Argentina created chances to equalize in the first half, the clearest being a sharp turn and shot by Matías Rosa, brilliantly saved by Matheus, who celebrated it like a goal. Brazil went into halftime ahead.
Matheus protected Brazil’s goal time and again. A shot from Arrieta in the 11th minute had been the most dangerous effort.
The final three minutes were unforgettable: in the 17th minute, after a long Argentine possession, Matías Rosa received the ball and finished low to make it 1-1. One minute later, Argentina nearly took the lead as Claudino went one-on-one with Matheus, who made a chest save.
But Brazil had one more life. In the 19th minute, captain Dyego brought down a long ball with control, fired a shot, and the rebound wrong-footed Acosta.
Brazil repeated their 2024 triumph and claimed their 12th CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal™ title. Argentina once again finished as runners-up.
