Argentina are the first finalists of the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™
Defeated Venezuela 2-0 and will play for the title this Sunday.

- Goals by Arrieta and Granda came in the final five minutes.
- They will go for their fourth title.
They played it like a final. Fast transitions both in attack and defense. Both teams were eager to secure a spot in Sunday’s final.
The first half and the opening stages of the second half ended scoreless. There were several good scoring chances, including one from Carreño, who came just inches away from pushing the ball into Argentina’s net.
The excitement came at the end. With just four minutes remaining, Arrieta led the Argentine attack, combined with Claudino and, after receiving the ball again, the Albiceleste’s No. 7 dragged it inside and finished with his left foot past the goalkeeper’s right post.
The final minutes were full of emotion. Venezuela attacking with everything, Argentina protecting the lead. The match was fiercely contested until the very end — literally. In the final second, Lucas Granda sealed the win with Argentina’s second goal.
Argentina claimed the victory and will contest the title this Sunday in the final match of the day (5:00 pm). They have already won this tournament three times: 2003, 2015 and 2022. Earlier, at 2:00 pm, Venezuela will play for third place.
