Brazil and Colombia draw in their opening match
The match ended 2-2 in their debut at the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™

- Pito and Marlon scored for the reigning champions.
- Echavarría and Sánchez found the net for Colombia.
Group B played its second match of the opening day and it was a thriller: a 2-2 draw between Brazil and Colombia.
The reigning champions got off to a slow start. In the 3rd minute, Echavarría finished off a well-worked Colombian move to make it 1-0. La Canarinha equalised soon after thanks to a powerful shot from Dyego that was deflected by Pito.
In the second half, Brazil turned the match around through Marlon, but the lead was short-lived. Just one minute later, a fierce strike from Sánchez slipped past Willian, making it 2-2.
This Sunday, Brazil will face Bolivia, while Colombia will take on Venezuela, who had a bye in the opening round.
