Chile won the opening match of the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™
Chile defeated Bolivia 4-0 in Group B. La Roja will have a bye in the second round, while La Verde will look to bounce back against Brazil.

The CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026™ kicked off with an attractive Group B clash between Chile and Bolivia.
La Roja got off to a brilliant start: just one minute into the match, Bernardo Araya scored the opening goal of the tournament. Moments later, Eduardo Martínez calmly chipped the ball to make it 2-0, a scoreline Chile carried into halftime.
In the second half, when Bolivia were playing better and pushing to pull one back, Chile struck again through a stunning goal from substitute Figueroa.
Nicolás Lagos added the final goal four minutes from time, sealing a 4-0 victory for La Roja on their debut.
Chile will have a bye this Sunday, while Bolivia will try to recover when they face Brazil.
