Friendlies results ahead of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™
Just over three months before the tournament kicks off, national teams are getting ready.

- Brazil lost the first match and won the second against the United States.
- Colombia drew one and lost one against Japan.
Between April 4 and 8, friendly matches were played involving teams that will compete in the upcoming CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™.
Brazil, the reigning champion of the tournament, lost 2-0 in the first match against the Olympic champions United States, but won the second 2-1. Kerolin and Amanda Gutierres scored in stoppage time for the Canarinha.
Colombia, last edition’s runner-up, drew the first game and was then beaten 6-1 by Japan.
Argentina, who finished third in the last CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina™, also had one loss (0-3) and one win (1-0) against Canada. Yamila Rodríguez scored the winning goal for the Albiceleste against the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champions.
Peru and Chile each earned a win and a loss against Cuba and Haiti, respectively. Ecuador and Venezuela secured a win and a draw against Costa Rica and Panama.
The CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™ will take place in Ecuador from July 12 to August 2.
