Brazil Debuts with a Big Win Against Peru

The reigning champions secured a 9-4 victory in their opening match at the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™.

The reigning champions delivered as expected: Brazil put on a show in their debut at the CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™, claiming a dominant victory over Peru.


The first period ended 2-1 in favor of the Canarinha, thanks to goals from Hulk and Mauricinho, while Puelles had temporarily equalized with a powerful free kick.


In the second period, Rodrigo (the world's best player in the sport) extended Brazil’s lead as they began to take control of the match.


The third period was full of goals—nine in total. Brendo scored two stunning goals, celebrating his first (a bicycle kick) by reminding everyone that Brazil is a six-time champion in the sport.


Brazil will continue their campaign on Sunday, the 23rd, against Venezuela, who also won their opening match. Meanwhile, Peru will face Argentina, who had a bye on the first matchday.
