Brazil’s road to the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina™ title
The Canarinha won four of their six games and beat Colombia on penalties to become champions of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™

Champions of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™, held in Ecuador, Brazil had an unbeaten campaign to win their ninth title in history, the fifth consecutive. In six matches, Brazil had four wins and two draws (including the shootout win in the final), scored 21 goals and conceded 6.
Brazil’s journey began on July 13, in the first round of Group B of this edition. Against Venezuela, the first victory, 2-0, with goals from Amanda Gutierres and Duda Sampaio.
Then it was time to face Bolivia: a 6-0 win with three goals from Kerolin, two from Luany and one more from Amanda. Arthur Elias’ team rested in the third round before returning to the pitch at Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda.
In the fourth round, the opponent was Paraguay. The third win, 4-1, had goals from Yasmin (two), Amanda Gutierres and Duda Sampaio. Finally, the Canarinha held a 0-0 draw with Colombia in the last round to secure first place in the group.
The semifinal opponent was Uruguay, second place in Group A. With a complete performance, Brazil built the win in the first half to win 5-1, goals by Amanda (2), Gio Garbelini, Marta (penalty) and Dudinha.
The final once again put the Brazilian team against Colombia in a spectacle worthy of the occasion. Brazil fought back three times in regular time, including a stunning goal by Marta in the last moment, to force extra time. The number 10 star managed to turn the game in extra time, but Leicy Santos equalized again.
Marta scored twice, accompanied by Angelina (penalty) and Amanda Gutierres, to reach the shootout that crowned Brazil once again. Amanda Gutierres, with six goals, finished as top scorer of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™.
