Argentina defeats Ecuador and finishes with a perfect record
Argentina earned a 2-0 victory to close Group A with 12 points. Ecuador was eliminated.

- Kishi Núñez and Florencia Bonsegundo scored for Argentina.
- Ecuador finished fourth in the group.
Argentina defeated Ecuador 2-0 and finished top of Group A with a perfect score. They will play the semifinal of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina™ on Monday.
Ecuador had more possession in the first half (60%) but lacked depth. The clearest chance came in the 8th minute through a cross from the left, headed by Mayerli Rodríguez in the six-yard box, but Abigail Chávez reacted quickly to block it.
In the 19th minute, Argentina opened the scoring: a run by Paulina Gramaglia ended in a low cross that Kishi Núñez backheeled into the net.
Near the end of the first half, the roles reversed in Argentina's attack: Núñez delivered a great cross that found Gramaglia in the six-yard box with the goalkeeper already beaten, but her header went just wide.
In the second half, one of the Albiceleste's most experienced players came in and scored within a minute: Florencia Bonsegundo received a back pass from Maricel Pereyra and netted her second goal of the tournament.
Argentina finished first in Group A and will face the second-place team from Group B (Brazil, Colombia, or Venezuela) in the semifinals. Ecuador ended its tournament in fourth place.
