The last two qualifiers for the CONMEBOL Copa América™ will be determined

• On March 23, the playoffs between Concacaf teams will determine the last participants.  
• Trinidad and Tobago faces Canada; Costa Rica faces Honduras.  

On Saturday, March 23, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco (Texas, USA), the playoffs will be held to determine the final two participants of the CONMEBOL Copa América United States 2024™. 

Trinidad and Tobago and Canada are looking to play in their first CONMEBOL Copa América™ in history. The winner of the playoff will be the only debutant in the tournament and will join Group A, alongside Argentina, Chile, and Peru. 

Meanwhile, Costa Rica and Honduras have already participated in this tournament: Costa Rica has participated five times (1997, 2001, 2004, 2011, and 2016), reaching the quarterfinals in 2001 and 2004. On the other hand, Honduras participated in only one edition (2001) and had a remarkable performance, finishing in third place and having the tournament’s MVP (Amado Guevara). The winner of this playoff will go to Group D alongside Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay. 

The CONMEBOL Copa América United States 2024™ will begin on June 20 with the match between Argentina and the winner of the playoff between Trinidad and Tobago and Canada, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. 

The winner of the Costa Rica-Honduras playoff will debut against Brazil on June 24 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. 

Already qualified for the tournament are the United States, Mexico, Panama, and Jamaica.
