The tournament will have its opening game on June 14 when they face Brazil and Bolivia.
The official Merlin Rabisco ball and the America’s Cup trophy were immortalized at the Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo, the official venue for the opening of the CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019, where, within 100 days, the kick will be given initial for the game between Brazil and Bolivia.
The oldest tournament of teams returns to Brazil after 30 years, with 26 matches in six stadiums of five Brazilian capitals: Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo. The teams will fight for the continental title in a vibrant tournament to be played between June 14 and July 7.
The 46th edition of the tournament will have the participation of 12 teams: the 10 teams from the South American countries, plus Japan and Qatar, current champion and vice-champion of Asia, as guests. In addition, in the different fields of play will be nine titles of the FIFA World Cup gathered and some of the biggest stars of world football.
After the draw in January in Rio de Janeiro, Group A was made up of the national teams of Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru. Group B has Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar, while Group C has Uruguay, Ecuador, Japan and Chile.
The CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019, will make the Continent vibrate after the spectacular edition of the Centennial that was played in the United States in 2016.
