What are the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024™ Semifinals fixtures?

The four best teams on the continent compete for two spots in the Grand Final on July 14, when the champion of this 48th edition will be crowned

  • The CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ Semifinals take place on July 9 and 10.
  • Teams fight for a place in the Grand Final on July 14, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The competition is getting fiercer and fiercer at CONMEBOL Copa América United States 2024™: the 16 teams participating in the Group Stage became 8 in the Quarterfinals and now the four best teams on the continent are looking for a place in the Grand Final of the tournament.


On the one hand, the teams classified from Groups A and B face each other to advance to the Semis and, ultimately, to the final match – the same happens in Groups C and D. On July 9, which opens this new phase, Argentina (winner of Match 25, against Ecuador) and Canada, winner of Match 26 (against Venezuela). On the other side of the bracket will Uruguay, winners of Match 27 (vs. Brazil) and Colombia (who beat Panama on Match 28), a face off on July 10.


After the Semifinals, two matches will close the 48th edition of the oldest national team tournament in the world: first on Saturday, July 13, the 3rd Place Match takes place – then, on Sunday, July 14, it is time to decide the new champion of CONMEBOL Copa América™ at the Hard Rock Stadium Final.




The Semifinals matches


Match 29 – Argentina (W25) vs Canada (W26)


After winning Group A, Argentina became the first team to qualify for the Semifinals after beating Ecuador on penalties 4–2 (a 1–1 draw in normal time). They will face Canada, who beat Venezuela in the same way (1-1 in normal time, 4-3 on penalties) on July 5 at AT&T Stadium.

Match 30 – Uruguay (W27) vs Colombia (W28)


Colombia produced a great performance from James Rodriguez and his teammates against Panama on July 6, securing a spot in the Semifinals. Then, Uruguay bested Brazil the same day, on penalties, to also advance to the same stage in the tournament.
