The most important club tournament in Europe has started, and the presence of players who stood out in the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa América™ was immediate.


Endrick had a dream debut in the Champions League


The Brazilian came on in the second half for Jude Bellingham to make his debut in the international tournament with Real Madrid. In stoppage time, the 18-year-old led a counterattack from his own half and fired a shot from outside the box to seal the Spanish team's 3-1 victory over Stuttgart. Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Federico Valverde, and Éder Militão (who came on in the second half) were the other South Americans involved in Madrid's Champions League debut.


Nico González, key for Juve; McKennie scored a goal


The two-time CONMEBOL Copa América™ champion (2021 and 2024) set up a great play leading to the second goal, scored by Weston McKennie, and then netted the third in Juventus' 3-1 victory over PSV. Douglas Luiz, Danilo, and Timothy Weah came on in the second half for the Vecchia Signora.




Christian Pulisic opened the scoring against Liverpool


Less than three minutes had passed when Captain America struck a powerful right-footed shot to give Milan a 1-0 lead over the English team. The match ended in a 3-1 victory for Liverpool, which featured four players from the most recent CONMEBOL Copa América™: Alisson and Mac Allister were starters, while Luis Díaz and Darwin Núñez came on in the second half.
