Paraguay secured a place in the semifinals of the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025™ after Venezuela lost to Ecuador.
Before falling to Brazil, La Albirroja won their first two matches against Venezuela and Ecuador, the only two teams that could have possibly tied them. Ecuador has 6 points and no more matches to play, while Venezuela has 3 and will face Brazil in the final group stage match.
The first tiebreaker criterion is head-to-head results, meaning Paraguay will finish second in Group A.
With one win in either the semifinal or a potential third-place match, they will qualify for the Philippines World Cup, which will take place from November 21 to December 7, 2025.
