  • On July 14, the Inter Milan striker scored in the 112th minute,
  • He was the tournament's top scorer.

Argentina became the most successful team in CONMEBOL Copa América™ history by winning their 16th title in the United States, surpassing Uruguay's record of 15.

In the final, Argentina and Colombia were tied 0-0 after the initial 90 minutes. In extra time, Lionel Scaloni made three substitutions, bringing on Leandro Paredes, Giovani Lo Celso, and Lautaro Martínez.

In the 112th minute, all three players were involved in the play that decided the 48th edition of the world’s oldest national team tournament: Paredes stole the ball in his own half, passed it to Lautaro, who returned it to the Roma player, and he passed it to Lo Celso, who brilliantly assisted the tournament’s top scorer. And "El Toro" didn’t miss.
