CONMEBOL Copa America United States 2024™ promises to not only be a tournament for great players, but also for young stars who are just beginning their careers with their national teams.
With the confirmation of the squads of the 16 teams participating in this edition, we put together a list of the youngest players called up for the tournament:

Kendry Páez – Ecuador – 17 years, 1 month and 17 days
Ecuador's great sensation at this CONMEBOL Copa América™ is also the youngest player in this edition. Kendry Paez is already one of the main names for El Tri, and he already has an agreement to leave Independiente del Valle for Chelsea next year.
Endrick – Brazil – 17 years and 11 months
Like Paez, expectations forEndrick's future are high. The young Palmeiras striker has already earned an important role for the Verdeamarelha and will participate in his first major national team tournament. About to turn 18, he will move to Real Madrid after CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™.
Andy Rojas – Costa Rica – 18 years, 6 months and 16 days
The young Costa Rican striker made a name for himself at his club, Herediano, throughout last season when he scored 8 goals in 35 games and was runner-up in the local league. The reward came for Rojas with his first national team call-up this month, including a goal during his CONCACAF qualifying debut.
Luc de Fougerolles – Canada – 18 years, 8 months and 9 days
An Englishman by birth, Fougerolles trained in Fulham's youth academy and had an appearence last season. The Canadian defender, who knows how to play in every position on the back line, made his debut with the national team in March 2024.
Valentín Carboni – Argentina – 19 years, 1 month and 16 days
Carboni moved to Inter Milan at a very young age and has enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2023/24 with Monza in Serie A. With two goals and four assists during his latest campaign, the youth player received his first call-up from Lionel Scaloni this year. Now, he is going to his first CONMEBOL Copa América™.
Kervin Andrade – Venezuela – 19 years, 2 months and 8 days
Fortaleza brought Andrade to Brazilian football last year, and in 2024 he had the opportunity to settle in with the first team. The winger scored 7 goals in 21 games and gained national team consideration in the eyes of Fernando Batista, who gave him his debut for the Vinotinto.
Kaheim Dixon – Jamaica – 19 years, 8 months and 17 days
Another rookie for his national team, Kaheim Dixon has been playing for Arnett Gardens in the Jamaican first division since last year and is coming off a season with 6 goals in 13 games. He wore the Reggae Boyz jersey for the first time this year. He is a striker who can also play on the flanks.
Karoy Anderson – Jamaica – 19 years, 8 months and 20 days
Anderson was born in England and has been playing for Jamaica since 2023, making six appearances for Heimir Hallgrímsson's national team so far. He is coming off a year of asserting himself at Charlton Athletic, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in England's third division in 2023/24.
Jeyland Mitchell – Costa Rica – 19 years, 8 months and 23 days
A defender of good stature (1.87 m tall), Jeyland Mitchell made his professional debut at the age of 17 with Guanacasteca. Today, almost three years later, he has earned a place in Gustavo Alfaro's squad with the national team and is going to the first CONMEBOL Copa América™ in his career.
Warren Madrigal – Costa Rica – 19 years, 10 months and 28 days
About to turn 20, Madrigal has been wearing the colors of Deportivo Saprissa for more than two years: he has scored 14 goals in 70 games with the traditional Costa Rican club. He made his debut for Los Ticos in 2023 and scored his first goal in 12 games this year, in a match against Honduras.
Josimar Alcócer – Costa Rica – 19 years, 11 months, and 14 days
Alcócer debuted as a professional with Alajuelense a few days after his 17th birthday and appeared with Westerlo, in Belgium, two years later. He made his debut for the Costa Rica national team in 2023 and has played 9 matches so far. He has already scored his first goal for the team. He played in the last Concacaf Nations League and was called up for his first ever CONMEBOL Copa América™.
Alejandro Garnacho – Argentina – 19 years, 11 months and 20 days
'Garna' is one of the youngsters who generates the most excitement at this CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, and is one of the most experienced at a professional level despite his young age. Born in Spain, he was promoted to Manchester United's starting lineup over the past year, where he scored 10 goals in 50 appearances in England. He made the first of 5 appearances for Argentina in 2023. He will turn 20-year-old on July 1, during this year’s tournament.
