Results of CONMEBOL national teams’ friendlies

The ten South American national teams played matches between October 10 and 14 during the FIFA window. Another set of friendlies will be played in November.

  • Estêvão scored twice in Brazil’s big win over South Korea.
  • Bolivia recorded one win and one loss as part of their playoff preparation.

The year’s penultimate FIFA window brought solid performances and results for all ten CONMEBOL teams.


Argentina won both matches (Venezuela and Puerto Rico), delivering one of the biggest scorelines: 6–0 against the island team.


Other routs came from Brazil (5–0 vs South Korea) and Colombia (4–0 vs Mexico). In Carlo Ancelotti’s team’s victory, young Estêvão netted twice.


Uruguay won both games (Dominican Republic and Uzbekistan), while Chile defeated Peru. Ecuador drew against both the United States and Mexico.


Paraguay drew with Japan and later lost to South Korea. Meanwhile, Bolivia — preparing for the March 2026 playoff to qualify for the World Cup — beat Jordan 1–0 and fell 3–0 to Russia.
