CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019 launches a spectator guide

The Local Organizing Committee of CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019 has prepared a guide to guide and facilitate the arrival of fans to the six stadiums of the tournament, which begins on Friday 14, at the Morumbi Stadium. The 17-page Spectator’s Guide can be found on the official website.

Among the information in the Spectator’s Guide is the opening hours of the gates. The opening and the final match will have the gates open four hours before the start of the game. The other matches will open three hours before the beginning.

How to use public transport and the best ways to access the stadium, guidance to avoid carrying backpacks and bags, and the warning that payments at the stadiums should only be made in cash, debit cards, credit cards and prepaid are some of the recommendations brought by the document.

“We’d like the fans to come to the stadiums early, calmly, so they can avoid queues and enjoy the party to the full. For the opening match on Friday, we will open the gates at 17:30” said AgbertoGuimarães, Operations Director of the Local Organizing Committee of CONMEBOL Copa America Brazil 2019.

Withdrawal of tickets

The Local Organizing Committee also reinforces the request for the fan not to leave to withdraw his ticket in the last hour. The best way is to withdraw your ticket as soon as possible at one of the Ticket Centers, which operate every day, including Saturday, Sunday and holidays, from 10am to 8pm.

For matches that start after 8pm, fans must remove their tickets before the Ticket Centre closes, as its opening hours will not be extended.

Fans can purchase their tickets through the official website: or at the Ticket Centres. Each person has the right to buy 5 tickets per match and up to 7 matches. Any match may have tickets purchased until the opening of the gates of the match, as long as there are seats available. It is necessary to remember that there will be no sale or withdrawal of tickets at the stadium offices.

The procedure for the purchase at the Ticket Center is simple: upon arrival at the location, the person will be directed to a self-service terminal and must remove the password for the ticket purchase. When called through a monitor, it will inform the attendant of the counter about the departure you want. If there is availability, the effective purchase in cash, credit card or debit card and immediately receive the ticket. It is not possible to choose the seats, but the price category. The system will select the best currently available seats.
