Colombia beat Thailand 4–1 with goals from Salcedo (x2), Celis, and Rodríguez. With this result, they secured second place in Group B and advanced to the quarterfinals of the first Women’s Futsal World Cup, currently being played in the Philippines.
With Colombia’s qualification, all three CONMEBOL teams reached the quarterfinals. Brazil and Argentina had already secured their spots after the second matchday of the Group Stage.
In the quarterfinals, Colombia will face Argentina (1st in Group A) on Monday, December 1, while Brazil’s opponent will be determined next Saturday.
