  • Has two wins in the tournament.
  • Florentín, Nava, and Núñez each scored twice.

Argentina is establishing itself as a strong contender in the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025™. After defeating Chile 4-0, they won 10-0 against Peru in the second round to lead Group B.

There were six goals in the first half: at 4’, Silvina Nava opened the scoring. One minute later, an exquisite assist from Ontiveros found Florentín, who anticipated the Peruvian goalkeeper, chipped the ball over her, and pushed it into the net.

A moment of brilliance from Lucía Rossi (including a nutmeg) led to the third goal, scored by López. Florentín, López, and Della Vedova completed the 6-0 first-half score.

Without the same intensity as the first half but with great efficiency, Argentina continued to score: once again, "Peque" Nava found the net with a shot from outside the area for the seventh goal. Captain Núñez, after a well-executed throw-in combination, added the eighth, and Ontiveros—following a clever backheel pass from Quevedo—scored the ninth.

The final goal came from the captain, who combined with Natta and secured her second goal of the match. It was a 10-0 victory for Argentina, which has yet to concede a goal after two matches.

Argentina will have a rest day on Monday and will play again on Wednesday against Uruguay. Meanwhile, Peru will seek its first points of the tournament against Chile on the third day of competition.
