Paraguay turns it around against Bolivia and caps off its road to the semifinals with a win

Paraguay had already qualified for the semifinals, but it will arrive in great shape for the clash against Argentina after coming back from a 0-1 deficit against Bolivia.
La Verde went into halftime with the lead after a shot from María Gálvez deflected off Portales, making it 1-0 for Bolivia. Near the end of the first half, Briseyda Orellana almost scored a second for La Verde.
In the second half, La Albirroja equalized thanks to a goal from its captain, Arévalo, who pushed in a shot that was going wide. Later, No. 10 Paola Brítez pulled off a brilliant play, including a slick dribble, to seal the 2-1 win.
Paraguay finished second in Group A and will fight for the title and a spot in the FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup in the Philippines. Bolivia finished fifth in the group and will face Peru for 9th place in the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025™.
