Brazil maintains its high level and leads Group A
Defeated Ecuador 11-0 and has a perfect score in the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal Femenina 2025™.

- Two wins in the tournament.
- Tampa scored three goals.
The reigning champion, host, and top contender did it again: after a 9-1 win over Bolivia in their debut, Brazil defeated Ecuador 11-0 and secured the top spot in Group A.
The first half was total domination by the Canarinha. A true jogo bonito, with speed, dribbling, and plenty of goals. There were five in total: the opener came from Diana in less than a minute, with a well-placed and powerful shot. Then, Nati Detoni scored twice, showcasing her strength.
Toward the end of the first half, Ana Luiza extended the lead after a great play by Tampa. Shortly after, Tampa herself found the net after a rebound.
Without the same offensive hunger as in the first half, Brazil continued to dominate after the break. Emilly scored the first goal of the second period at seven minutes, after a great one-two with Natalinha. Then, Bia blocked the goalkeeper's clearance and netted the seventh goal.
In less than 20 seconds, Tampa scored two stunning goals, completing a hat-trick against Ecuador. To wrap up the massive victory, Diana netted the tenth, and Lucileia closed the match with a brilliant backheel goal.
The Canarinha secured its second win and heads into its break as the group leader, as they have a bye round before returning to action on Wednesday, the 26th, against Paraguay. Meanwhile, Ecuador will aim for its first points on Monday when they face Bolivia.
