Brazil qualified for the quarterfinals of the Beach Soccer World Cup

The Canarinha won all three of their matches and advanced to the next round.

  • Chile and Paraguay were eliminated in the Group Stage.

The top three teams from the CONMEBOL Copa América Beach Soccer 2025™ have been competing in the World Cup in Seychelles since May 1st.


Brazil topped Group D after claiming three wins: 3-1 against El Salvador, 2-1 against Italy, and 11-1 against Oman. They qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament.


Paraguay, meanwhile, lost their first two matches (9-11 to Portugal and 1-5 to Iran) but finished with a solid win over Mauritania (9-5).


Chile, making their tournament debut, started with a 7-6 win over Tahiti, but then fell to Spain (2-4) and Senegal (3-7).


The quarterfinals will be: Belarus vs Iran, Portugal vs Japan, Senegal vs Italy, and Brazil vs Spain. All matches will take place on May 8th. The semifinals are scheduled for May 10th, and the tournament will conclude on Sunday, May 11th.
