Beach Soccer: Groups drawn for the World Cup in Seychelles
  • Brazil will face Italy in its group.
  • Paraguay is in a tough group with Portugal and Iran.

The top three teams from the recent CONMEBOL Copa América Fútbol Playa 2025™ now know their opponents for the Beach Soccer World Cup in Seychelles: Brazil, Paraguay, and Chile have been drawn into their respective groups.

Brazil, the defending champion, will play in Group D alongside Italy (whom they beat in the last final), El Salvador, and Oman.

Paraguay, meanwhile, faces a very tough Group B: they will go up against Portugal (two-time world champion), Iran (third place in the last edition), and Mauritania.

Chile, set to make its World Cup debut, was placed in Group C with Spain, Senegal, and Tahiti.

Group A: Seychelles, Belarus, Guatemala, Japan

Group B: Mauritania, Iran, Portugal, Paraguay

Group C: Spain, Senegal, Chile, Tahiti
