Nicknamed "La Caldera del Sur", this stadium will host Group B matches during the group stage of CONMEBOL COPA AMÉRICA FEMENINA 2025™. It was the first club-owned stadium in Quito and is named after the club idol Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda, a standout player in the 1940s.

Opened in 1994, it is known for its lively atmosphere and passionate fans. It is home to SD Aucas, one of Quito’s most historic teams.

At over 2,800 meters above sea level, the stadium blends rich history with a strategic location in southern Quito, offering easy access for fans. Its warm and engaging atmosphere turns every match into a true local celebration.

Fun fact: the venue has hosted international concerts, including Iron Maiden’s 2009 tour.

Rules for a safe and comfortable experience

No entry with alcoholic beverages, umbrellas with metal tips, sharp objects, or fireworks. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, stay orderly in the stands, and follow logistics staff instructions. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
