The two most recent Copa America champions meet on Friday in Rio de Janeiro as Neymar’s 2019 winners Brazil face 2015 and 2016 champions Chile with Alexis Sánchez key in attack.

The hosts made a dominant start to the competition but found things more difficult in their final games of the group; they were behind against Colombia until the 80th minute before picking up the win and they drew their final game against Ecuador.

This will give Chile renewed confidence, as will the return to form of Inter forward Alexis Sanchez and the emergence of the dynamic Ben Brereton.

The winner of this quarterfinal game will take on the winner of Peru vs Paraguay, which will take place on Friday at 6pm local time in Goiania.
