Stadiums of the CONMEBOL Copa América Femenina 2025™: Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda

Inaugurated in the 1990s, it will host 10 matches of the tournament, all during the Group Stage.

It was inaugurated in 1994 under the name Sociedad Deportiva Aucas Stadium and was renamed in 2013 in honor of Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda, one of the club's icons and a key figure of the team that won five consecutive championships between 1945 and 1949.


With a capacity of 18,799 spectators, it is the home stadium of Sociedad Deportiva Aucas. It is also known as Chillogallo Stadium or “The Cauldron of the South.”


In the world of entertainment, it stood out in 2009 when it hosted Iron Maiden, one of the most iconic international heavy metal bands.


Its tournament debut will be on July 13, with the match between Bolivia and Paraguay. Nine of its hosted matches will be from Group B; the remaining one will be Chile vs. Uruguay, in the final round of the Group Stage.
