Colombia (2-0-0)

Néstor Lorenzo's team extended its unbeaten streak and began the tournament with victories over Paraguay, 2-1, and Costa Rica, 3-0, securing their qualification for the next phase.

Canada (1-1-1)

The Concacaf team, the only debutant in the tournament, lost to Argentina, defeated Peru, and drew with Chile to reach the top 8 of the tournament.

Ecuador (1-1-1)

Ecuador turned things around following a 1-2 debut defeat against Venezuela, triumphing over Jamaica 3-1 and arriving for the final match against Mexico in need of a simple draw.
