Barcelona
The Catalan side, back in the semifinals after six years, features two players who competed in the United States. Uruguayan defender Ronald Araújo played four matches in the world’s oldest national team tournament and has featured in six Champions League games this season, scoring once.
Meanwhile, Raphinha is one of the European tournament’s standout performers, with 12 goals (second-highest scorer) and seven assists. He also scored one of the best goals of the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™.
Inter Milan
The top scorer of the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, Lautaro Martínez, is the captain of the Nerazzurri and has scored eight goals in the current Champions League campaign, including two against Bayern Munich.
The Italian side also has Valentín Carboni in its squad, who won the title with Argentina in the U.S. The winger was on loan at Olympique Marseille earlier this season and is currently recovering from an injury. He is expected to return in time for the Club World Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain
Brazilian center-back Marquinhos captains the Parisian team and partnered with Ecuadorian William Pacho in the second leg against Aston Villa. Fellow Brazilian Lucas Beraldo started in the first leg.
Both Marquinhos and Pacho played every match for their national teams during the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™, while Beraldo remained on the bench throughout the tournament.

Magalhães had been a starter for Arsenal in the Champions League but missed the quarterfinals due to injury. Martinelli, meanwhile, started both legs against Real Madrid and scored the decisive goal in the second leg to seal the 2–1 win.
