Argentina and Brazil: Two Recent Finals

At the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024™, held in Uzbekistan, La Albiceleste and Canarinha contested the first all-South American final in the competition's history.

Brazil won 2-1. In February 2026, the two teams met again in a final, this time competing for the CONMEBOL Copa América Futsal 2026 title in Luque, Paraguay.

Once again, the result went Brazil's way, as they secured a 2-1 victory with a decisive goal approximately one minute before the final whistle.

As a result, La Albiceleste have faced Brazil in two finals over the past two years and will meet their rivals once again at the 2026 Finalissima Futsal.
